System requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
- A graphics card with DirectX 11.
- About 200 MB of disk space. Everything SysCap needs is included; nothing else has to be installed.
- Administrator rights only for the optional file activity tracing.
Installing
The installer puts SysCap in your user profile and adds it to the Start menu. Your settings and scan data are kept in SysCap's own folder. To remove it, use Settings > Apps in Windows.
Windows SmartScreen. Beta releases are not yet code-signed, so the first time you run SysCap, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway. The checksums above let you confirm the file is the one published here.
Updates
SysCap checks for a new version shortly after it starts and every few hours. A new version downloads in the background, its signature is checked, and it installs when you restart or close SysCap. If it cannot start, the previous version comes back by itself. You can turn the check off in SysCap's menu.
